There is also a barbeque on-site for guest usage, so feel free to foil those potatoes and marinate that steak...<br /><br />Our location in Sunny Corner is close enough to the city of <a href="http://www.miramichi.org/">Miramichi </a>to enjoy the unique nightlife the area has to offer, as well as various festivals (The Rock and Roll Festival, Canada's Irish Festival, Pow-wows), and far enough away to enjoy the picturesque beauty and quiet of our purely rugged New Brunswick nature.<br /><br />As a guest, you will be in close enough proximity to stroll on over to <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">amenities</span> such as the local watering hole, eatery and the nostalgic general store that is <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Shike's</span> Place, all offered under one roof. There is also the Irving gas station within walking distance, which features a Subway sandwich shop.<br /><br />Island View is also located just down the river from the famous, original tubing destination, <a href="http://www.stewartstubing.com/">Stewart's Tubing</a>. We are willing to help you arrange a tubing excursion with ease.<br /><br />On the banks of the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Miramichi</span> River, there are ample <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">activities</span> of a slow pace. There is tubing, paddle boating, swimming, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">canoeing</span> and fishing in the summer months before the season fades away into fall. The autumn brings cool breezes and spectacularly hued foliage; it truly is a feast for the senses and offers a bounty for hunters.
